What's the FFMS orchestra all about?
Working hard to produce great concerts while having fun working as a team and improving personal skills. 

Which instruments are in the orchestra?
the bowed string instruments: violin, viola, cello, bass

How many students are in the FFMS orchestra? 
Currently, there are almost 200.

Is the FFMS orchestra any good?  
Well, we consistently earn superior ratings at Large Group Performance Evaluation. Come to a concert and hear for yourself! 

Who teaches the orchestra?
Mrs. Morris. She is a violist who is a product of Gwinnett County Public Schools herself. She is starting her 23rd year teaching, 18th year at FFMS.  She occasionally performs in the community, taught at Encore Orchestra summer camp for 9 years, and is a member of Georgia Music Educator's Association.

How can I support the FFMS orchestra?
Attend a concert, purchasing a candle during our fund-raiser in October, donate money, donate an instrument. 

My child is currently in orchestra. How do I get more detailed information?Visit the Orchestra Google Classroom for current news announcements, helpful worksheets/resources, homework, etc.
